Red Flag

The red flag indicates a situation of "danger". The danger may be constituted by several factors such as adverse weather conditions, pollution of bathing prohibition or whale sharks. On some beaches the red flag indicates a ban on charter boats and the prohibition on organizing activities at sea or the interruption of service and supervision (no lifeguard and / or rescue service). Sometimes the event of adverse weather conditions or other risk exposure may be realized by two red flags arranged vertically on the same flagpole.
