Joachim Murat 1811 Flag

The official flag of Joachim Murat. The flag with a blue background surrounded by a rectangular frame chased with red and white. The emblem combines the beam and the eagle, symbol of the French Empire, the black horse emblem on golden background of Naples, as well as the triskelion to represent Sicily. The crown height of the emblem represents the royal title from Murat. The background of the flag incorporates the colors of the crest of Altavilla, first sovereign of Sicily.
