Equatorial Guinea Flag

Flag of the Equatorial Republic of Guinea. The population of Guinea gained independence from Spain only in 1968. The flag of Equatorial Guinea is a tricolor and the motto is Unity, Peace and Justice. The flag is composed of 3 horizontal stripes colored green, white and red; there is also a blue triangle that is in question, but only on the left; in the center of the flag is the emblem of Equatorial Guinea, a shield of modern French typology; inside the shield a tree is depicted, under the shield a banner with the inscription Unidad Paz Justicia, with the meaning of Unity, Justice and Peace, in the upper side there are 6 stars.
