Earl of Wessex Standard Flag

Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, is the third son and fourth (and youngest) child of Elizabeth II and The Duke of Edinburgh. The flag is divided into four quadrants. The first and fourth quadrants represent the ancient Kingdom of England and contain three lions passant guardant in pale or armed and langed azure; the second quadrant represents the ancient Kingdom of Scotland and contains a red lion rampant langued azure within a double tressure flory counterflory of the second; the third quadrant represents the ancient Kingdom of Ireland and contains a version of the gold harp from the coat of arms of Ireland on a blue field. The whole is differenced by a Label of three points Argent, where the central point charged with a Tudor rose. The first and fourth quarters are the arms of England, the second of Scotland, the third of Ireland.
