Flag Norman flag with three leopards On sale
The Norman flag with three leopards — nicknamed 'Treis Cats' ('three cats' in Norman) — is one of the major identity symbols of Normandy, alongside the traditional flag with two leopards.
Visual description
The flag consists of two main elements:
- The background: A bright, vibrant red field (gules in heraldry).
- The motifs: Three golden (yellow) leopards stacked vertically, passant (walking towards the left of the flag) and facing full-front towards the observer. Each leopard is generally depicted with blue claws and tongue (armed and langued azure).
Finishes
Easy polyester: the finish for sizes 70x100 and 91x140 is made with a loop only.
Nautical polyester and stamina: the standard finish is made with rope and carabiner, with the exception of racing, beach, boat and flag-waving flags. To request a different finish (loop with rope, boat, rings, straps, hooks, or other), please write to info@flagsonline.it).
