The flag of Malta was adopted on September the 1964, day of the Independence. The flag is made up of two vertical bands: the left one is white, the right one is red. White and red are also the colors of the Malta's Cavaliers. On the upper left side there's a San George's cross, given to the Malta's Peoples for their heroism during the II World War.
