The Tibet flag displays two lions of mountain (kilin) representing the temporal and the espiritual power; the two lions are taking the wheel of the Ying Yang. Upon them, there are the 3 jewelleries of Buddhism: Buddha, the dharma (the law) and the sangha (the monks serving the law). The Tibet flag was adopted in 1912 promulgated in 1918.
