The flag of the Province of Brescia consists of a light blue background with the emblem of the province in the middle. The coat of arms of the Province of Brescia was registered in the register of the Heraldic Community on 15 July 1904 following a decree signed in March of that same year by Vittorio Emanuele III. In the sketch attached to the royal decree appears a colorful shield containing five coats of arms: those of the city of Brescia in the center and the municipalities of Chiari, Breno, Verolanuova and Salò on all four sides. The emblem of Brescia represented a rampant lion tongue and armed with red; the coat of arms of Chiari is divided into two parts: in the upper area appears an eagle on a golden field while, in the lower part, there are three silver stars with six points each; the emblem of Breno represents a deer that is grasped by an eagle in flight; the emblem of Verolanuova represents a young woman resting on a silver crescent; finally, the coat of arms of Salò represents a silver lion holding an olive branch in its jaws.
