Our lady of Lourdes Flag

Our Lady of Lourdes is one of the most significant apparitions of Mary to the Christian world. The name of the place is referred to the French town of Lourdes where, between 11 February and 16 July 1858, the young Bernadette Soubirous, fourteen year old peasant woman, reported to have witnessed eighteen apparitions of a "beautiful lady" in a cave not far from the small suburb of Massabielle.
