This section offers different kinds of naval flags or maritime flags. The "Naval Ensign" are flags used by the Navy of the different countries. The "State Ensign" is worn by non-military government vessels and ships. The "Civil Ensign" or "Civilian Ensign" are flags hoisted by ships, merchant vessels and may be defined as "merchant flags ". In some countries may exist flags just in use of the Police Forces or different Corps as Guard Coast and militar flags in use on the Navy (Naval Jack).
