The flag stellata (Starry Estelada blava = blue). This is the flag that represents the determination of the Catalan Countries towards the independence of the region. Its origin dates back to 1908 and is born from the merger of the four traditional sections of the Royal House of Aragon with the triangle with the star, referring to the flag of Cuba, following the stay of Vicenį Albert Ballester, party activist Union Catalana.
